I have done BBA in Distance education frm EIILM university, Am I eligible fr Bank PO exams , Plz tell me dat EIILM university Sikkim is recognised and approved enough to make me applicable fr Bank PO exams , Remember I hav done BBA in distance education ?

Yes, you are eligible to apply for Bank PO exams with the above mentioned qualifications. Only graduates from recognized institute can apply for this exam. EIILM University is recognized and approved by UGC. Maximum age limit for this post is 30 years. You need to attend and qualify in bank written examination to apply for this post. Those who qualify in written exam need to qualify GD and Personal Interview as well.

You can appear for the Bank PO entrance exams provided you are meeting all the criteria to appear for the entrance exam.

Since the qualification required in graduation, Bachelor of Business Administration degree will be accepted. Having completed through regular or correspondence is completely irrelevant.

The IBPS Bank PO entrance exam is accepted to be conducted in September. The notification will be issued in August. There are 19 Public Sector Banks that will accept the candidates through this entrance exam. The names of the banks are:

Eligibility

1. IBPS exams are open for Indian nationals only.

2. You must have a under graduate degree.

3. At least 60 percent marks in graduation.

4. A certification in Computer Operating skills.

5. Or you should have studied Computers/IT subject in 12th or college.

6. The age limit is set at 20 to 28 years for the exam.

For the Banks in the Government sector exams for the Post of PO and Clerks are conducted by:
IBPS on behalf of 20 Nationalised banks
SBI conducts its own exams


Eligibilty for the IBPS CLERKS exams:
Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 28 years


Eligibilty for the IBPS PO exams:
Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


Eligibilty for the SBI BANK CLERKS exams:
12th Pass with Minimum 60% marks or Graduation Pass

Age limit for SBI Clerk Recruitment Exam
1.Open category or General category students must have between 18 to 26 years.
2.For SC/ST Students, 5 years relaxation provided as per the rules,so the maximum age could be 31 years
3.OBC Students can have up to 29 years
4.10 years relaxation for PWD candidates
5.Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated can have up to 35 years
6.EXSM (Ex-Servicemen’s) relaxation will be Period of service in Defense + 3 years


Education Qualifications required for SBI Clerk Recruitment Exam
1.Intermediate/10+2/12 th class with 60% of marks for General category students and 55% for other category’s

Yes you are definitely eligible for Bank PO exam if you have done BBA through correspendence. If University is recognized then your Distance education Degree is equal to a regular Degree. So do not worry about the eligibility criteria and start preparing for the exam.

Bank PO exams are conducted by IBPS and SBI in India . You can apply for both of them. The criteria for both of them is almost same.

Age Limit:

Age should be between 21 to 30 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.

SC/ST - 5 years relaxation

OBC - 3 years relaxation

PH - 10 years relaxation
