Am I eligible for GATE after scoring 58% in 10th and 71% in 12th


I have scored 58% in 10th and 71% in 12 th should i eligibile for gate sir i will take admission in nit and iit below 60% in 10th till now i have secured 7.7cgpa in btech

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering .

This exam is conducted for M-Tech admission , PHD admission and some of the organization recruit the candidate through GATE score.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department are applicable for GATE Exam.

You have B-Tech degree so you are applicable for GATE Exam , this exam not require any percentage marks in 10th,12th and B-tech degree.

If you will scored good in GATE exam then you will get definitely IIT and NIT , they have not require you academic percentage marks.

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply here maximum time.There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

GATE score is valid for TWO years . 3rd year student are NOT eligible for GATE exam. Only final year and pass out batch are eligible for 2014 GATE exam.

i got 59% in 10th & 55% in 12th & im st & 65% is aggrigate at B.Tech then can i applicable for gate .& if i will score good i can do M.Tech?
