i got 84 % in 10th,64 % in 12th but my running BE average is 59.9833 %.1 mark less then 60 %.does i m eligible for tcs?
does it allow round-off upto 1 decimal place?

Eligibility For TCS

TCS( Tata Consultancy Services) is undoubtedly the most renowned company in India for IT and outsourcing..

A candidate is eligible to appear for the TCS placement drive if :-

>> The candidate has secured an aggregate of 60% in 10th,12th and B.Tech till the 6th sem..

>> candidate must not have a study gap of more than 2 years

>> candidate must not possess any active backlogs at the time of the placement drive..

Since, your percentage in B.E is only 0.01% less than the required criteria hence, I don't think it will be much of a problem..

Generally,the percentage is rounded off to the 1st decimal place but you should better confirm with your TnP department about the rule which is followed by your University..

Hello dear aspirant, as you fulfill all the eligibility conditions except your graduation percentage. As the company has its own requirements for recruitment which is same Nationwide, hence you are not eligible for placement in TCS. Sorry.

I do not think that you eligible for TCS because TCS is very strict about there Rules and regulation there cut off mark is 60% career then no relaxtion they tolerate (among 0.01%).
So you try to keep the rest semester to good score and improve your percentage above 60%..I hope...

They require 60% in 10th,12th and graduation. I think your B.E. percentage is almost 60% and not a problem. Have you applied yet??

Yes you are eligible for TCS campus recruitment as you have good marks in engineering.Candidates who score more than 60 or equal to 60 are recruited but you will just eligible for placement.Some other companies where you can try-

Eligibilty for the TCS freshers jobs are:
>> Minimum 60% aggregate marks in class 10th, 12th, Diploma and Graduation.
>> All these marks should have been scored in first attempt only
>> There should be no GAP of more than 24 months during your education and career.
>> All degrees of education should be from regular course.
>> Minimum age to apply to TCS is 18 years

So, you need to improve your score to 60% in BE/BTECH and than on;y you can apply to TCS for interview
