I have 72% marks in my 10th & also i have 75% aggregate all my semesters of degree, but in 12th i have less than 60% marks. Now i'm last year in b.tech can i eligibal toget job in TCS?

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is one of the leading IT companies in India. It conducts regular on campus and off campus drive to hire MCA and B.Tech candidates for the job.


Now just like other IT companies, Tata Consultancy Services also have some requirements that candidate is required to meet for the job. Your academic record, I must say is very impressive although the 12th score is something that worries me.


Since you scored less than 60 percent marks in 12th, your chances not just in Tata Consultancy Services but other companies like Wipro, Infosys, IBM are also affected. These compaines are very strict when it comes to percentage requirement and apart from Infosys, no other company is known for giving any relaxation.


However you should not feel disappointed. Since your overall academic performace is still excellent, there is a chance of getting job in Tata Consultancy Services. However you would need to meet all the other requirements for that.


Eligibility

1. A B.Tech or MCA degree from a recognized university.

2. Candidate should maintain 60 percent marks throughout the academic career.

3. It means 60% marks in 10th, 12th, graduation and post graduation course.

4. There should not be any backlogs.

5. TCS will not consider any candidate who has appeared for any improvement exam.

6. There should not be more than 2 years gap in your education.

If you are interested in this company and want to appear in the recruitment process of the TCS company then you need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for TCS Recruitment Process.
--> B.Tech or MCA degree from a recognize University. Final year candidates are also eligible to appear in the recruitment process.
--> 60% or above marks throughout the career i.e there must be minimum 60% marks in the 10th, 12th and in B.Tech course.
--> There should not be more then two (2) year gap in the academic career.

Selection Procedure of TCS.
--> Written Test.
--> Technical & HR Interview.

As per your above mention qualification you have good academic career but your 12th marks is below 60% then as per eligibility criteria of the TCS you are not eligible to appear in the recruitment process of the TCS. I advise you to go for another company recruitment. There are many company which conducts the campus placement.

Eligibility Criterion For TCS

A candidate can appear for the TCS placement drive if :-

>> The candidate must have secured an aggregate of 60% in 10th,12th adn B.Tech till the 6th semester..

>> Candidate must also not possess any active backlogs at the time of placement drive..

>> Candidate should not have a study gap of more than 2 years..

I am really very sorry but you are not allowed to sit for TCS as you haven't secured 60% in 12th..

You can apply for Syntel if you wish to..

Syntel allows candidates with more than 50% in 10th,12th and B.Tech to sit for their placement drives..

Am i eligible for TCS ?? I got 81 % in 10th,65 % in 12th and my running B.tech average is 70 %.mark.I am pursuing B.tech in Punjab Technical University.....??

I think NO, Minimum aggregate (aggregate of all subjects in all semesters) marks of 60% or above in the first attempt in each of your Class Xth, Class XIIth, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-Graduation examination which includes successful completion of your final year/semester examination without any pending arrears/back logs during the entire course duration. Please note that all subjects mentioned on the mark sheets should be taken into consideration while calculating the aggregate marks. For example, best of 5/6 subjects for calculating the aggregate is not acceptable as per the TCS Eligibility Criteria.

Am i eligible to get a job in TCS after scoring 76% marks in 10th and 66% in 12th overall but 58% in PCM aggregate.....pls reply fast

I got 91% in 10 th std n 63%in 12 th n 7.5 cpi in be bt i have one backlog in seconds em...can i get in tcs or infosys??

Below is the Minimum qualifications required to apply for Jobs in TCS:

>> Minimum 60% marks in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if any), BE/BTECH, Masters(if any)

>> Minimum 60% marks should have been scored in these exams in your first attempt only

>> Compartment and Improvement exams marks are not considered

>> Minimum age to apply is 18 years

>> All the education should have been done through regular mode only

>> NO correspondence and distance education is allowed

>> There should not be GAP in education or Work of more than 24 months

can I get placement in TCS I m get 81 in 10th 67 in 12 and in IT engineering I got 52 can I got placement in TCS ????

According to your statement your academic result is insufficient to join in TCS like MNCs as fresher.

TCS Eligibility:-

1.Candidates to obtain 60% or above marks in 10th,12th also in b.tech.

2.Should have good computer knowledge.

3.Should have excellent communication skill.

4.Candidates to obtain b.tech graduate degree without backlog.

5.Academic gap must not exceed 2 years.

Your academic marks is insufficient to join TCS.
