is bds better than mbbs whether joining in bds govt is better than mbbs in pvt is long term a better option even though we get a govt seat in bds then what is tha correct decision to make whether to go for long term or join in bds and apply for eamcet next year and try for mbbs i am intrested in mbbs but there are least chance for me to get in mbbs but i will get in a pvt colllege is it gud to join in mbbs in pvt or govt college please help me i am not able to decide which is the right option

I gs bds govt is much better...thn mbbs pvt B...coz a govt seat has got more value...u need to top the course...bds i mean...and u get immediate placements plus a better mds option...
But topping mbbs is very difficult and moreover getting into MS is a hard nut to crack...just an mbbs graduate frm a Pvt college wont b much of a value...:/
But then if you are mad about mbbs..u cn definitely go for long term...pucca mbbs seat nxt yr...
even im facing the same prob...shud c at the counseling...if i get into a gud govt bds college i shall go forward or else never mind--mbbs seat nxt year :)

No matter what MBBS is always the best option. The best dentist may earn more than an an average MBBS but a even less than average MBBS earns more than average dentist.

Getting into MD/MS is not absolutely necessary after MBBS. You can get MRCGP or MRCP from India or UK, or work in middle east or join government service and get promoted even upto DMO.

Opportunities and vacancies are more for MBBS. MRCGP is very easy. A lot of MD MS and DNB seats are available for post graduation.

Go for BDS if you're confident about being the most talented, most patient, most well behaved, most tricky, most manipulative, and most business minded dentist who's an expert in self marketing and has enough money to invest in. a clinic.

Even if you have all these, MBBS is a better option because, because it will earn you at least 10 times the income with these qualities compared to a dentist with these qualities.

and after all mbbs course is easier to study and pass exams compared to bds. mbbs needs only superficial knowledge..and no practical skills..when compared to bds.
