Hi

Eligibility for GPAT is as below:

Persons holding Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2)

OR

Persons appearing in the Final year examination of B. Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) in the year 2011 only

are eligible for appearing for GPAT-2011 examination.

There is no minimum aggregate criteria for GPAT. So you are eligible for GPAT.

Yes you are eligible for GPAT examination.

Because to appear in this examination, you need B.Pharm degree or appearing in the Final year examination of B. Pharma only then you are eligible for appearing for GPAT examination.

And if any candidates are in Final Year of B.Pharm OR Completed B.Pharm degree after lateral entry into B.Pharm after D.Pharm then they are also eligible to appear for GPAT examination.

This examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration containing 100 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks. The question paper will consist of only multiple choice objective-type questions.

And in this examination there will be negative marking for each wrong answer that is 1/3 mark will be deducted.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is an all India Examination to be conducted by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara on behalf of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

Eligibility for GPAT

Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates) and those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course are eligible for appearing in GPAT Examination.

Pattern of Question Paper

The GPAT-2011 question paper will consist of one hundred fifty (150 Nos.) multiple choice objective questions only.

Each right answer will carry one mark while for each wrong answer 1/3 (one third) marks will be deducted.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST-2011 (GPAT-2011)

Online Application website opens : 17th January 2011 (Monday)

Online Application website closes : 21st February 2011 (Monday)

Last date for receipt of printout of application (upto 17.00 hrs) at GPAT Office, The M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara : 28th February 2011 (Monday)

Date of Examination (GPAT - 2011) : 8th May 2011 (Sunday, 14.00-17.00 Hrs)

Declaration of GPAT - 2011 Result : 31st May 2011 (Tuesday, 17.00 Hrs)
