How to fill GPAT Forms?
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is organized by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda as per the AICTE norms under the control of the boards such as National Monitoring Committee and AICTE. The test is carried out for the admission of eligible candidates for the Master’s degree programme in pharmacy.
Those candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy of four years duration are eligible to apply for this examination. The final year students can also apply for the same. The lateral entry candidates in the B.Pharm are also eligible. The instructions for filling the GPAT form are mentioned below.
Instructions to be followed for filling in form
Candidates have to apply for this examination via online registration. They should log on to the official website of GPAT for applying. First of all they should carefully fill the fields required in the form. An incomplete form will not be accepted, so they should complete all the mandatory fields. The candidates have to satisfy the entire eligibility criteria before applying online. After thoroughly checking the information filled, submit the form. A system generated registration number and password will be provided to the applicants after successfully submitting the form. This has to be remembered for future reference.
The next step is to download the system generated challan form that will contain the candidates name and registration number. Students have to pay the application fee using this challan form in any branch of Bank of Baroda nearby. The application fee is Rs.1000/- for the general candidates and Rs.500/- for the deprived candidates. After that they should send the printout of the application form with a recent photograph firmly affixed on it, challan form and the relevant documents to the specified address.
- Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form
- While filling the online application form students must be aware about some exceptions. They are
- Candidates should be careful while paying the application fee. It is Rs.1000/- for the candidates belonging to general and OBC category and Rs.500/- for those from SC/ ST/ PD category.
- The candidates’ name and application number should be written on the backside of the photograph.
- The photograph should be pasted and should not be stapled.
- Put the signature of the applicant in the application form wherever required.
- They should retain a photocopy of the application form.
Last date for receipt of applications
The application form along with the necessary documents and challan form should reach the specified address before 21st of February 2011.
