please tell me what is the minimum marks required to get admission in NIT's .
Or at what marks i would be able to get under 5000 rank ?
if the exam is of 432 marks containing 30 questions from each subject .

Basically to crack the exam you need to be in top 100. Percentiles are decided based on the highest marks. Make sure that your accuracy level is high. Donot attempt anything you are not sure about.

Dear student,

The admission not only depends on your marks or percentile but it also depends on the cut-off list.

If the exam is of 432 then scoring above 260 will help you.

If the paper is of 432 marks you should have scored at least 60% paper correct which comes out to be above 300.

May be you get nit allahbad in 3rd or 4th counselling
. But as you may want a good brank you should opt for one more year..
And prepare hard for aieee.

To get a nit your rank should be less than 18000... And you should have scored at least 150/360 in aieee exam

To secure a seat in NIT under 5000 you must get atleast 45-50% marks.
So if the maximum marks is 432 you must get around 200 marks to have a chance of getting under 5000.
This is not a easy exam and you must be careful in attempting questions as it involves negative marking.Study well and only answer when you are sure.

If I have got a better rank last year,(2011) and i use it for admission will they ask my 2012 scores also for admission
