Eligibility : MERCHANT NAVY
-Unmarried male
-Belong to age group of 19-23 years
-Should of Indian
-Should have completed his graduation from a recognized university (with Physics, Mathematics, at 10+2)
-Final year students can also apply
2)National Cadet Corps Special Entry (Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC)
As a air Wing Senior division 'C' certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, you can apply to flying branch.
Physical Eligibility For joining Merchant navy as Deck Cadet are as follows: -
A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.
1. Eye Sight = 6/6,
2. Height = 167 cms,
3. Weight = 50 Kg
4. Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)
SO YOU ARE APPLICABLE

No you will not be eligible for this stream. You need to be from the science background. Along with science maths too should have been one of the subjects studied. Also securing above 55% is a must. If you wish to change stream then you have options like BBA, BCA. You need to take a decision based on the job profile that interests you.

If you want to join merchant navy. so sorry to say you can't join it. Because
only science student with (Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics) can apply for merchant navy.

There are various entrance exams like IGNOU, IIT - JEE etc. Then there will be a one year training.

Eligibility/Age limit:- Eligible Both unmarried male and female candidates, age should not be more than 20 years those belonging to the SC/ST have this rule relaxed by about 5 yrs.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Candidates completing 10+2 system or
quivalent, having passed Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics as elective subjects. candidate need to have at least a 50%.

foa applying in the indian merchant navy you must have martial status unmarried,nationality
indian, have subjects maths & physics. and there are some physical measure for the candidates as below-
