I'm now doing BCA from Tilak Maharashtra University but it is Distance Education & i also complete my B.Sc(chemistry) from Mumbai University(Regular mode).Can u please sent me details of MCA in Mumbai University.
& required criteria for MCA Entrance Exam in Mumbai University .

hey buddy how are you , whats going on , now u are a graduade frrom well organised university . dear it doest matter either you done your degree regular ya distance ,but the thing matters is that you got 50 percent minimum to take admission in m.c.a . directly or entrance .its your choice .dear i am 100 percent confident and that you are eligible for joinind mca course . colleges may matter if creteria of admission based on marks . so no worry afterall u are upcomimg compuer naster . thanx

Definitely...you can do MCA course in Regular/Distance mode from Mumbai university after completing your BCA course.

Duration of MCA course: 3 Years(divided into 6 semesters)

-To join MCA course in Maharashtra University you have to appear in MHCAT(Maharashtra Common Admission Test) conducted by Maharashtra university.


Eligibility for Maharashtra University MCA Entrance Test:
-------------------------------------------------------

• You should have completed BCA course from recognized Institute/University.
  
• You should have passed 12th with mathematics subject.
  
• Final year appearing candidates also eligible to apply.
  
• You must secured minimum of 50% marks in Graduation(45% for ST/SC/PH candidates).
  
• There is no Age Bar mentioned for this Entrance Exam.

Application Procedure for MCET:

You can apply for this Exam by Application Form Available at Designated Hesd post office over India by paying decided Fee amount. After filling this Form send it to Given Address.

Application Form Cost: Rs. 750/-(Rs. 550/- for ST/SC/PH candidates.)

Yes, you can join MCA course in Mumbai University after completion of BCA through distance education.

MCA- Master in Computer Application is a 3 years course, can be joined after completion of BCA(Bachelor in Computer Application) with at least 50% marks but to get admission in Mumbai University you have to appear for the MHCAT(Maharastra Common Admission Test) entrance exam with good score.

The other criteria to get admission to MCA is the candidate should have Mathematics in 12th standard if you are a graduate other then BCA. There is no age limit for MCA admission.
