I am doing bca through distance learning and want to puruse admission in mca (regular) in pune university. will i be eligible for giving entrance exam as my bca degree is of distance learning…please suggest???

As far as concerned about your diploma the only requirement for admission in pune university for MCA programme is:

Any Science Graduate with Mathematics at 10+2 Level.

So if you have done any degree or completed your graduation than you can appear for this examination

Pune University MCA Entrance Exam 2011 Application Form :
For General Category Student : Rs. 575/-
For Reserved Category Student (In Maharashtra) : Rs. 475/-
Please pay the Fees through the Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank that is to be drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, University of Pune’, payable at Pune.

Eligibility criteria for MCA entrance exam:

• Any graduation with 12th standard with maths,physic and chemistry

Notification for this year:

last date to submit application online is on 5th march 2011

And exam date is on 27th March 2011

Fee structure for application:

For General category has pay RS 575 at the time of application

For OBC category candidate has to RS 475 at the time of appkication

You can pay the amount through demand draft in any nationalized banks.

I am in 6th or last semester of BCA and doing this from Sikkim Manipal University(distance). There ia no Mathematics in 10 2 Level. there(10 2) was Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Application. Can I admit in any institute for MCA regular? If it is possible, then What is the procedure? Please Help Me.

Yes , you can apply for it.

Yes you are eligible for mca entrance test of pune university.
Eigibility crieteria for mca entrance test is graduation from recognized university. 60 PERCENT IS Required in graduation. Must have studied maths at +2 level.

Will I eligible for MCA regular degree in any colleges in South India (especially Tamil Nadu) after completing BCA through distance education from Vinayaka mission university, Salem?

The minimum eligibility crietria for Pune University is 60 percent in graduation from recognised university and maths in +2. U are eligible for MCA entrance test conducted by Pune Univesity even though you have done BCA from distancs education as if it is approved by dec.

you should have done BCA or other bachelor's degree of atleast 3 years

which ever mode you have chosen , distance education or other main thing is that you have BCA degree with at least 55% minimum

can i do mca regular from IP university..i had done bca from sikkim manipal university ...nd got 50% in 10std and 60% in 12 but i was not having I.P in 12 not maths
