if you wanted to become a lecturer fifty years ago, a post graduate qualification was not necessary. Over the past few decades the career has become so professionalised that now it is impossible to get a permanent position as a lecturer without having completed you PhD.

However, if you have completed your masters with more than 60% aggregate marks from any recognised college/university, some community colleges may offer you the post of guest lecturer. Hence, if you have the masters degree with aggregate marks of minimum 60% you are eligible to become a lecturer in Anna University.

is there any exams is conducted by anna university to select the lecturers with his or her post graduation?

is there any elegibility test for become lecturer in govt engg colleges

Hi Sir,

I am Deva. completed M.Sc(Software Engineering) form Anna University affiliated Engineering college in 2010, and presently working for an IT MNC.

Would like to know join M.Tech in SRM university, but when i checked there are lot of problems if we study Me or M.Tech in deemed university and the anna university and affiliated colleges do not appoint the candidates who studied in Deemed university.

1. Please suggest me whether I can join M.Tech in SRM or only any one of the Anna univ's affilated college.
2. Also I hear of noises about M.Sc (5 years integrated) course is not eligible for the Engineering college lecturer even though if I study M.E or M.tech.

Kindly clarify these two queries.
