Re: Am I eligible for M.Sc Zoology after Botany honours?
Yes, You are eligible to do M.Sc Zoology after Botany Hons.
You should have passed with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (Medical and Allied Medical Science/ Biosciences / Life Sciences) or equivalent to apply for this course. The duration of the course is only 2 years after B.Sc. The fee comes around 3000INR per semester based on your merit in the entrance examination. Thank you. |

Re: Am I eligible for M.Sc Zoology after Botany honours?
Minimum eligibility criteria/conditions to apply for admission in M.Sc in Zoology :
Since you have been graduated with B.Sc honours and also studied Zoology and Physiology as compulsory subjects at graduation level so I would say that : To get admission in M.Sc Zoology, a candidate should have passed B.Sc in Zoology as honours OR B.Sc in Biotechnology with Zoology as one of the main subjects OR B.Sc in Chemistry with Zoology as one of the compulsory subjects OR B.Sc in any subject of the science with Zoology as a necessary subject at graduation level and when you have studied Zoology then you are 100% eligible to get admission in M.Sc Course. For your information, I have listed some good colleges/universities providing M.Sc Zoology course with career opportunities : >> Kurukshetra University - Department of Zoology >> IIS University Jaipur >> Barkatullah University - Department of Zoology - Bhopal >> Presidency University Kolkata - Department of Science >> University of Calcutta >> University of Delhi >> IGNOU - Indra Gandhi National Open University. These universities offers admission in PG course for candidates interested to study PG and admissions can be taken based on percentage marks of graduation course and according to the counseling rules, candidates having higher marks are listed first of admission. |
