I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for M.B.A after passing graduation with 40% marks. For M.B.A you have to score minimum 50% marks. For admission in top college you have to qualify the entrance exam like C.A.T, M.AT, X.A.T etc. GOOD LUCK! |

Re: Am I eligible for MBA after scoring 40% marks in degree?
You haven't mentioned the degree in which you secured 40 percent marks. Anyway I will try my best to answer the question.
MBA stands for Master of Business Administration which is 2 years long post graduate course in business administration. Now there are two ways to get admission in a MBA college. You will have to appear in two exams: Common Admission Test (CAT) Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Now for you to appear in Common Admission Test is impossible for the simple reason. You need to score at least 50 percent marks in graduation course to qualify for CAT. Now there is a 5 percent waiver for the candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe etc caste but still you are short by 5 percent to appear in CAT exam. In short, CAT is not the possibility for you. Now what is left for you is Management Aptitude Test also known as MAT. The advantage of MAT is that there is no minimum percentage required to appear in this exam. Which means that you with 40 per cent marks in graduation course can appear in MAT exam. The MAT exam takes place 4 times a year and it is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). The only requirements for All India Management Aptitude Test is that you should have graduation degree. Mimimum age to appear in the exam in 21 while there is no upper age limit It is very important to remember that after appearing in MAT exam, you need to apply in colleges that give admission on the basis of MAT score. Don't make the mistake of applying to the CAT affiliated universities since your graduation course percentage is not enough. Some colleges that give admission on the basis of MAT score are: AIMA-Centre for Management Education (PGDM) Jaipuria Institute of Management KIET School of Management Taksila Business School Accurate Business School JK Business School ICFAI University IILM College of Management Studies |

However the opportunities definitely becomes limited when it comes to choosing the top MBA Entrance Exams which one can apply to pursue this course from the top B-Schools in India. Re: Am I eligible for MBA after scoring 40% marks in degree?
Hi Friend...
You have not said their education through which people anchored 40 percent marks. In any case My partner and i will endeavor a wise to reply that question. MBA signifies Become an expert in with Firm Administration which is couple of years long posting masteral system in business administration. Today there have been two techniques for finding entry at a MBA college. You have got to emerge in two exams: Common Apptitude Test (CAT) Management Apptitude Test (MAT) Today to appear in Prevalent Classes Test doesn't seem possible with regard to the straightforward reason. You ought to get at any rate 50 percent represents during college system so that you can be entitled to CAT. Today there exists a 5 percent release for your prospects belonging to Itinerary Caste, Itinerary Kindred or anything else caste but still you might be small by 5 percent appearing during CAT exam. In summary, CAT isn't the possibility with regard to you. So what now is left for your needs might be Organization Talent Test also called MAT. The main benefit of MAT might be that there's basically no the bare minimum number needed appearing with this exam. Which means people by way of 40 percent represents during college system can look during MAT exam. The particular MAT assessment arises 4x annually and is particularly held by Almost all The indian subcontinent Organization Relationship (AIMA). The one requires with regard to Almost all The indian subcontinent Organization Talent Test might be that is recommended you need college degree. Mimimum era appearing during test during 21 nevertheless there is basically no upper berth era reduce With thanks |

Re: Am I eligible for MBA after scoring 40% marks in degree?
The percentage of marks that you have secured in your Graduation is very low of 40%. This is not at all enough in order to get admission for MBA course.
Have a glance over the required eligibility criteria to join MBA course. -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% of marks. -Relaxation in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category. The admission will be given on the basis of Entrance Exam. Top Entrance Exams to join this course are CAT MAT GMAT XAT etc. As you have secured only 40% of marks in your Graduation, out of above mentioned exams, you will be eligible to apply for only MAT Exam. Why because there is no percentage of marks criteria in order to apply for MAT Exam. This exam will be conducted 4 times in a year. There is no upper age limit for the candidates to apply for this exam. This is the only option for you to get admission for you to join MBA course. The other way you can do is get admission under management quota. But for this you need huge amount of fee. So, better crack Entrance Exam. you have to get good score in this Entrance Exam. Then only you will score will be accepted by colleges to give admission. Otherwise there is no use of writing MAT Exam. After joining in MBA course, gain good subject knowledge and communication skills for your better future. Wish you all the best. |
