education and health are legally concurrent subject. hence each state can decide rules for medical or clinical labs pathology lab is not a coorect word. in newly passed clinical estabilishment act only medical laboratory or clinical laboratory is mentioned which is appropaite with international norms iso 150189 .medical lab may have different branches like clinical pathology biochemistry micro genetics etc u can refer NABL 112 documents for more details. at present central govt has not given any rules for medical labs but some states have made their own rules

sir i have done my bsc mlt and msc mlt specilization with microbiology and immunology from RGUHS UNIVERSITY KARNATAK So can i run my own routine lab

i have Completed Msc. Microbiology and PGDMLT. Can i Open a Clinical laboratory? Is there is any authorization required for signing the Patient reports? If yes, is there any Certificate Course For that?
