Yes you are eligible for NDA .this exam conduct by the upsc twice in a year.

Age limit: The age limit is candidates between 16.5 to 19.

Educational qualification: For Army, candidates pass with 12th in
10+2 pattern of school education (OR)
equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board (OR) a university. For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy, candidates pass with 12th in pattern of school education (OR) equivalent examination
conducted by State Education Board or university with physics and mathematics subjects.

Closing date for online registration: 09-05-2011, up to 11.59 PM.
Last date for receipt of offline application: 09-05-2011, (For far flung areas 16-05-2011).
Date of written test will be conducted on: 21-08-2011.

Exam is on 21.08.2011 (SUNDAY)

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible.

This means you should be atmost 18 years and hence not eligible.

dear the exam is conducted twice a year
once in april and other is going to be held on 21 august...... for which applications have been closed now...
so you will have to apply for next year but amke sure the age limit too.....

National Defence Admission test exam is conducted by upsc.And this exam will be held twice in a year.They release notification as NDA-I and NDA-II.

Eligibility criteria for NDA examination:

Candidate should complete 12th standard with PCM course from recognized university.
Age should be between 16 1/2 to 18 years.

As your age is above 18 years,your are not eligible for NDA exam.

you do not mention the year of the exam. if it is 2011, then my answer is yes.
for 2011, eligibility of age is from 16 to 19
as the age comes between it . then i will say that you are eligible for the test.

date of nda exam 2011:-
as nda has two paper nda -1 and paper-2, then date for nda-1 and nda-2 is given below.
nda-1 :----17/04/2011
nda-2 :----20/08/2011

For Writing NDA Exam Age Limits must be 16 half to 19 years. I think if you have filled up this year's NDA II Exam form then you will be Eligible for this but after that you won't be Eligible for any Entry.

One NDA i.e NDA & NA I Examination has already been Over, which is on 17 of This April.

yes you are eligible for NDA exam , this require minimum12th std with PCM subject.
the age limit is only 16 to 19 years.after 12th you have to join UPSC.
the females are not allowed for NDA.only male candidate are allowed for it.

NDA exam information

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the NDA exam twice in a year for the admission in the Indian Army, Navy and Air force wing of the NDA.

To appear in the NDA examination you need the following eligibility criteria :
Educational Qualification = pass 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks.
Age Limit = The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of appearing of the NDA examination.

If you pass the 12th examination with at least 50% marks and if your age is between 16 1/2 to 19 years then you are eligible for NDA exam. In this year the submission of application form of NDA examination is already over. If you not fill the application form of NDA exam in this year then you miss the exam in this year now you can appear in the next year.

The National Defence Academy (NDA) Entrance Exam is Conducted by UPSC in every Year.

The Eligibility for Writing NDA Entrance Exam are,

Passed in 10th and 12th with Minimum 50% marks aggregate in (PCM)

Graduate in Any Degree with above 60% marks.

Age Limit: 16.5 to 19.5 years

yes, you are eligible for NDA exam. The eligibility criteria is given below:

1.student age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years

2. coming to educational qualification ,
a) for army wing-a pass in 12th class or its equivalent exam is necessary
b) for naval and air force wing- pass in 12th class or its equivalent exam with physics and mathematics as their subjects.

NOTE:students appearing in 12th or its equivalent exam are also eligible.

moreover physical fitness is also important and it has to be maintained as per the standards.

NDA exam is conducted twice a year by the UPSC .
NDA exam is conducted for the admission of the candidates into the three wings of the Indian defense System that is the Army ,Navy and Air Force...

The eligibility criteria for the NDA is as follows :

The age limit should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years .
Candidates must have passed the 12th board exam from any stream to get into the army but for the navy and the air force must have had maths , physics and chemistry as the compulsory subjects in the 12th board exam ..

All the candidates must have passed the 12th board exam from the recognized board or the university ...

For the NDA examination the age eligibility is from 16.5 years to 19 years on 1st January or on 1st July of the year succeeding the year of examination.As you are 18.5 years old so you can appear for one examination the next year.
In the current year the 1st examination was held on 17/04/2011 and the 2nd exam is due in 21/08/2011.

i happy to tell you that ur eligible for the nda exam cause the age limit is from 16 to 19..
some of the other criteria required for nda are as follows..

1. u should be a citizen of india or bhutan or nepal 0r tibetan...

2. u should pass class 12 of recognized board or university...

3.most important of all u should be physically fit...


the coming nda examination will be conducted on 21st of august 2011..
the last date to apply for this exam was 9th may 2011..

Yes,you can attend the NDA exam as your age is between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.

NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.
