Those Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for UGC NET exam. 50% marks is required in case of SC / ST / PWD category candidates

Final year of Masters degree candidate can apply here .If you are in final year of MA in Hindi then only you are eligible for NET exam .

Age criteria for NET Exam:-

i) Junior Research Fellowship : Not more than 28 years . Age relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC .

All papers contain objective question and There will be no negative marking.

Your age now 37 years old so you are eligible for NET exam on Lectureship post .

Recently UGC changed the higher aggregate marks of 3 papers to 65 per cent, 60 per cent and 55 per cent for the general, OBC and the SC/ST categories respectively.
