I got 30.67 marks in GATE2012. My GATE rank is 4467 and my GATE score is 437. Am i eligible for NIT'S

i got 29 marks with the score of 275 in GATE2012 cs branch.I am belongs to general category am i qualified in this exam or not??can anybody plz answer.

i hav just 50% in my engg degree. can i write gate exam..but i am a general candidate.

Sorry to say,buddy, but still it is low,you have to get between 500-700 in order to get into NITs,

Last year the gate cutoff for NIT durgapur- 550(software and IT)

Also,the GATE score are now useful for applying to various jobs and you can also appy to various SEMI government colleges like - PSG, SRM, VIT etc.


Many PSUs are also selecting on the basis of GATE score like- NTPC,BEL,BHEL and Power grid.
