I got AIR 3324 in gate in civil department.my marks is 26.67(cut off 25). my question is could i have any chance in jadavpur for mtech. and please let me have an idea about aprox rank required for a chance in jadavpur or BESU.

with such rank you will be getting jadavpur. nearly 600 rank is required for it.

I am sorry to say that in this mark you may not get chance in Jadavpur in Civil Dept according to the previous statistics.

Jadavpur University is one of the best and most wanted institutions in West Bengal as well as India.

After thw IISc and all IITs,this institute has the great profile for B.Tech and M.Tech in sense of study as well as campussing.

Try it in that year otherwise try it fir the next year GATE 2012 for the Jadavpur .
Generally,to take admission in you have to score more than 38 of cut off 25 marks.

So, if you can not able to get chance in Jadavpur,try next year,for that I will say you some tips:

1:Maintain a time table to allow yourself to devote minimum 6-8hrs per day for the GATE.

2:Then try to collect the base or main material of any subject.

3:.Study the Syllabus

4:Try to solve the Previous questions papers

5:Try to Solve more and more problems,

6:Try to discover more and more new own tricks by which you can easily solve any problem in a less time .

7:You can go for self tests.
