If you want to persue P.hd from a good university and after that want to teach or research in a government or government aided university national level university, then you have to appear for University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) or CISR-UGC-NET.

I have attached a file that will help you to understand,UGC-NET deeply,Kindly find the attachment below.

Both are conducted twice in a year, particularly in the month of June and December. You can also visit the UGC website-http://www.ugc.ac.in

Besides,NET you can also appear for entrance like-TIRF,JRF,SET (it is same as NET it is a state level competetion while NET is national),PET(it is conducted by pune university for persuing P.hd from there) etc.

Best of Luck

it all depends on the college or university you are applying for and your financial condition or status
if you want good university or college you have to write tests like ugc-csir to get admission in university like Andhra university or osmania university, also you will also get an stifund if you write national level exams
all the best

Hi,

To get admitted to reputed institutes for Phd in medical anatomy you have to crack the entrance tests conducted by the institutes.

There are also UGC approved institutes which take admission of Phd students through the CSIR-NET qualification exam.

Here in this UGC conducted exam you can get a fellowship known as JRF program, while studying the Phd course.

So better you go for the NET exam and start the preparation for it.

Good luck!
