If you have to get admission in good colleges like delhi university
Jnu, Banaras Hindu University then you have to give the entrance
test which is conducted by university itself, so, if you are get
admission in good colleges, then you have to give entrance test
for this..........

You dont mentioned that in which college you want to get addmission.
Its depend on particular college.
If you are interested in good college then you definetly give entrance exam and in many college you get addmission on the basis of Percentage.
Many colleges pffer direct addmission too.
Its depend on you to choose first your college.

You have not specified which University or college you want to join in B.A,honors(Geography).

Because some universities take their own entrance test for admission to the honors course.
Whereas, maximum institutes admit students based on their higher secondary performance.

For admission to reputed universities like BHU, Anna university, Delhi university etc you have to go through the entrance test for admission.

yes, there is an entrance test for geography B.A. honors.but is in some top selected colleges of India.

at first you have to apply for your subjects in these colleges.then a test will be organized. the selected students take admission in these colleges.

these colleges includes colleges of delhi university like Steffens college, Hindu college, bhagat singh college etc. BHU & kolkata university also gives admission by entrance test.

CATE exam is conducted by delhi universities for honors in any feild.
The top universities like BHU(Banaras hindu university) and JNU conduct their own entrance exam for Geography honors.

See neither do I know your exact location of stay, nor do I know the college for which you are applying. So whatever answer I will give will have a generalized approach in it. See, lots of Arts colleges never take any entrance test for admission, be it Geography or History or Language or even comparative literature. Seldom there are colleges which take tests and that too depends on the number of candidates applying for that college. Sometime entrance examinations are taken only because the number of candidates are huge that year. Sometimes without any test most candidates get admitted by virtue of their marks only because, not much candidates have applied that year. So depending on the situation, the decision for a college might change.
