hi, this is hemanth, i am a 2nd year student pursuing my btech, i would like to know whether any scholarships would be given for the second year students, i am in great need of scholarship to apply for internships and buy books, thanx in advance

Many colleges are inform at the time of admission
they will provide some scholarship
on the basis of mark in 10th & 12th

And if you good score in institution then also provide some........

So you eligible to satisfy all these things.........

generally the scholarship started from first year of any course. it is very difficult to get any scholarship in middle of any course. if you already applied for any scholarship on first year then you may get the scholarship in second year or later. but if you have not applied then you have to find out that any organization giving scholarship for second year students.


there may be some institutional scholarship for your institution in which may be second year students are eligible. you should conduct with your institution principal he/she may help you about this scholarship.

For your information i am telling you that i am also doing B.tech and i got a scholarship from H R D A this stands for human resources development association for this there may be some requirements like
1. you should be fresher means a drop cant be taken by you after 12th

2. your percentage in 12th should be greater than 85
than you may be selected by HRDA for scholarship the seats of scholarship was fixed for every district and they choose some upper students for scholarship

Scholarships helps very much in your study.Scholarship is very very important for Midil class student.

Various organisation provide Scholarship to students.Scholarship started from 1st year of B.Tech.you must have apply for scholarship in first year of B.Tech.scholarship in 2nd year of B.Tech is some difficult.

For scholarship you have to concern with your collge head.they will provide you the way of scholarship if it is possible.

every scholarship for students applied to ist year students.
so you can not avail scholarship generally offered in 2nd year if you are not apply for it in ist year.

don't worry there are so many opportunities even a tudent missed that chance in ist year...but the way is not that easy ....they primarly demands that to be eligible for that schlorships one's father income should be less than 3lak and these kind of schlorships are especially designed for reserved category students.

apart from these by your academic skills,project and by participating in different techfest and competetions you can achieve scholarships.
many govt organization organize such competition to help the students.

yes, my friend you can apply for scholarship.. Generally scholarship is given to the students from the first year...
But you can apply for the scholarship in the second year also..
To get the scholarship you have to speak with your college authorities..
They will give the correct information about scholarship..
generally one can get the scholarship depending on the academic qualification record..
You have to give good performance in your college..
Other factors are also there.. like- Your father annual income, Your attendance percentage throughout the semester..
So, you have to fulfill all the criteria to get the scholarship...

Well if you having any army background then you get scholarship from Army...provided that anyone of your blood relation is in Army

You will be eligible for it if and only if ur getting more than 60% in engg. so you have better chance..go for it.

Not only this if you are from state Maharashtra then there are several scholarships o your 12th class marks basis..if you have done your 12th from cbse...

Inquire about this in your college...college get froms of it.. ALL THE BEST

Sir Iam studying ECE 2nd year First year not apply. This year any possibility to get scholarship I got 87% of first year

scholarship based on your applying marks list suppose you are submitted 1st B.Tech 2nd semester marks there is no backlogs and you are joined on the basis of fee reambersment .you got nearly 4000 Rs. so please apply in your college for scholarship.

see,B.Tech students are not given scholarships generally.

M.TECH students mainly gets scholarships from MHRDT.

but although some colleges provides scholarships to their top most rank/merit candidate.

and govt paying some scholarships to the B.tech candidate those are studing in the ISI institute.

and also minority community candidate also get some scholarships from govt.

etc.

why not, it depends upon colleges. many colleges have many schemes.

after 2nd year many Private technical companies come forward and give scholarship in the project/search field.

Many core companies give scholarship to toppers of individual branches. these all depends upon the college, location of college or connection of college with company.
SCHOLARSHIP THAT IS GIVEN TO 2ND YEAR STUDENTS: ARVIN MERITOR SCHOLARSHIP etc.....

Scholarships are provided to the gem students who are brilliant in their academics and are supposed to add fame, glamour and name to any institution they are studying in.

I do not know that from which college or University you belong to, but most colleges do not give scholarships. Specially the government ones.

However some private universities do give scholarships and they recognize the good students and honor them in this way.

To get scholarships in the 2nd year, you have to be a topper of your batch, or stream in the 1st year.
Your CGPA, or average percentage of both the 1st and 2nd semesters should be such that you should be at the top of the list, or in the top third.
Then you have a very good chance of getting good scholarships from your colleges.

To get more information about this, please contact your college administration and accounts office. They would provide you all the details regarding this.
