Availability of higher studies after completion of B.Sc Botany?
I have completed my B.Sc Botany. I wanted to study further so which are the Master degree courses available and from where can I pursue those Master degree courses? What is the scope in Botany in India? What are the job opportunities?

After completing B.Sc botany you can study M.Sc botany.There are few specialization one can take in M.Sc like Bryology,Forestry,Cytology,Phycology,
Plant morphology,Agronomy,Economic Botany etc.The colleges offering M.Sc in Botany are listed as follows. 1.Ramjas college in Delhi 2.Anugrah Narayan college in Patna 3.Fatima mata National college in Kollam 4.University of Jammu Now coming to the job opportunities there are several jobs in India for Botany graduates.Some of the jobs available are Conservationist,Ecologist,Plant explorer,Environment consultant etc With regards. |
