Availability of Sports quota in Indian Army and hierarchy of Officers post?
Sir, I am Under'19 International Football player. Can I get Officer post in Indian Army with sports quota? What are the different sports quota available in Indian Army? What is the hierarchy of Officer posts in Indian Army?

Meritorious sports candidate can directly become soldiers, havaldar and naib subedar.The list sports that are given sports quota in Indian army are as follows.
Athletics,Football,Swimming,Basketball,Boxing,Cric ket,Cycling,Golf,Gymnastics,Handball,Hockey,Judo etc. The hierarchy in Indian Army is as follows 1.Field Marshal(This is the top post in Indian Army) 2.General 3.Lt.General 4.Major General 5.Brigadier 6.Colonel 7.Lt.Colonel 8.Major 9.Captain 10.Lieutenant 11.Subedar Major 12.Subedar 13.Naib Subedar 14.Havaldar 15.Naik 16.Lance Naik 17.Sepahi |
