Is B.Ed compulsory for PGT in NVS?

I have completed my M.Com and working as a Commerce Professor from past 4 years and currently pursuing PhD. Can I apply for PGT in NVS without B.Ed? Or, do I need to do B.Ed as well first in order to be eligible for PGT?

As per criteria of PGT posts in NVS , Candidates must have completed B.ed course and Masters programme as well. So B.ed is compulsory for PGT posts.

You cannot apply for the PGT in JNV.

The minimum required qualification to appear for the recruitment examination is that candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university.

Along with master degree, you need to have B.Ed qualification to become eligible to appear in the examination.

So, you will have to pursue the B.Ed course to become eligible to appear for the examination.
