Is B.Ed compulsory for pursuing M.Ed? Can I pursue M.Ed directly after M.Com?
Hello Sir, I want to pursue M.Ed, so I want to know that Is B.Ed compulsory for pursuing M.Ed? Can I pursue M.Ed directly after M.Com? Please answer as soon as possible.

M.Ed stands for Masters in Education. It is a post graduate academic master degree course which lasts for two years. However in some universities the duration of this course is one year also. The course can be pursued either in regular mode or in correspondence mode. In distance colleges the duration of this course is one year. To do this course you need to have a B.Ed degree as mentioned earlier. 50-55% of marks is required in it. The admission process is based on merit. M.Ed stands for Master of Education. It is a two-year Postgraduate academic degree course.
To be eligible to pursue M.Ed course, you should have passed Bachelor's degree course in Arts/ Science/ Commerce stream plus B.Ed course from a Government recognised university. Yes, pursuing B.Ed degree is compulsory to study M.Ed course. You can't study M.Ed course after completion of your M.Com course. So, to be eligible to pursue M.Ed course, first you have to study B.Ed course then, you are eligible to get admission to study M.Ed course. |

B.Ed is compulsory to apply for M.Ed course. You can't apply for M.Ed directly after M.Com.
