Is B.Ed mandatory to be eligible for CTET examination?

I have completed my Post Graduation and recently took admission in B.Ed. I am still in my 1st year of B.Ed. And, I have not done D.Ed also. So, can I apply for the CTET examination on the basis of my Post Graduation only? Or, do I need to complete B.Ed also?

No, you cannot apply for CTET exam on the basis of Post graduation course.

You must have completed at least 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE to be eligible for appearing in CTET exam.

Also, you could be eligible for CTET exam if you have completed your B.Ed. course.

But, since you are currently in 1st year of B.Ed. course, so now you cannot apply for CTET exam. You can apply for CTET exam next year when you will reach in 2nd year of your B.Ed. course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
