Quote:
If you apply for the Indian Air force through Technical entry scheme then you have not to apply for the NDA examination. Through Technical entry scheme you will be directly called for the SSB. Technical Entry Scheme If you are from Science stream and have not scored less then 75% marks in your Physics, Chemistry and maths combined together then you are eligible to apply for the Indian Air force through Technical Entry scheme. Age Limit For the Technical entry scheme candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years. So if you are applying through TES then you have not give NDA exam and you will be directly called for the SSB interview. For more information on TES you can visit at the below web site of Indian Air force. http://careerairforce.nic.in/home.html |

Re: How to join Air Force without passing NDA entrance exam?
Hi
NDA is the National Defense Academy and it is an All India Exam conducted by the UPSC every year to select candidates into the Indian Defense System of Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. There are 3 entries in it : NDA I, NDA II and Technical Entry Scheme. --> NDA I is conducted for the HS pass candidates , who become eligible for it just after they pass out Class 12th from a recognized board or school. The age limit for this exam is 16.5 to 19 years. --> NDA II is an entry for the graduates for those who want to get into the Army, Navy or Air Force after completing their graduation from any recognized university or college. The age limit for this one is 21-25 years. --> Technical Entry Scheme is for those, who want to enter the Indian Army as the camp and ground staff. They would have to handle all the off battle ground stuffs, like the communication system, the management of arms, medical, food related jobs, etc. So for this also the people who are from a science background can apply. The age limit is again 21-25 years for this NOTE : Physics and Mathematics are two compulsory subject a candidate has be be studied in class 12th if applying for Indian Navy or Indian Air Force. Also the physical fitness is required in every entry into any of the Indian Defense wings. So yeah now coming to your query, sure you can enter the Indian Air Force as a ground staff but not as a flying staff if you do not want to give NDA. But please be very sure that you have to sit for the entrance of Technical entry Scheme and without clearing entrance exam no one can get into any section of the government jobs. For getting regular updates on the openings in the Technical entry Scheme, Please subscribe to the Employment News. You may read about it online Here Hope this helps Regards #RJ# |

Re: How to join Air Force without passing NDA entrance exam?
Hi,
You can go for other exams if not NDA. After graduation you may go for CDSE-COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION AFCAT-AIRFORCE COMMISSION ADMISSION TEST Both CDSE and AFCAT are entry for air force after completing graduation. Both the entry are for graduate students. CDSE allows you to apply for only flying branch while AFCAT allows you to apply for all three branches 1)Flying Branch 2)Technical Branch 3)Ground Duty Branch. Good luck |
