BA Criminology student is eligible for SSC CGL exam?
Sir I'm BA criminology final year student. Please tell me that can I be eligible for ssc cgl exam or not?

CGL is Combined Graduate Level examination. It is conducted for recruitment in government jobs in various sector.
The required minimum educational qualification to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university in any discipline. The age limit varies with different post. So, you are eligible to appear for examination after bachelor degree in any discipline. Examination is conducted in various stages for final recruitment. SSC CGL doesn't require any graduation, you can go for it after your 12.

Yes, BA Criminology student is eligible for SSC CGL exam. Criminology course is not compulsory for Staff Selection Commission to be selected for Sub Inspector in CBI.
• The eligibility criteria for SSC CGL exam:- ✓ Educational Qualification:- Candidates must be a bachelor's degree holder in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates of any stream can also apply for this exam. ✓ Age Limit:- Candidate's age must be between minimum18 years to maximum 32 years (as of August 1, 2021). ✓ Nationality:- The aspirants must be an Indian Citizen and a subject of Nepal/Bhutan. Eligibility criteria for SSC CGL:-
> If aspirants are living outside of India, can also enroll their names for SSC CGL exam. > The minimum and maximum age limits for the general candidates are 18 to 32 years respectively. however the reserved category students get the age relaxation for applying for the exam. > To apply for SSC CGL exam, the aspirants should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline. |

SSC CGL stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination.
You will be eligible only after completing graduation and there is no restriction of particular stream. Candidate should be graduate in any of the stream. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate must be a holder of graduation degree from any of the recognised University. Candidate must have at least 45% aggregate in their graduation. Candidate age should not less than 21 years and not should not exceed 30 years. |

Yes, BA Criminology student is eligible for SSC CGL exam.
Any graduate is totally eligible for SSC CGL exam. You have to clear 2 rounds of Computer Based Examination. You have to go through skill test and document verification for final selection. There is no interview in SSC CGL examination. |

To appear in the SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination, the minimum education required is graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognized university. Students pursuing final year of their degree course are also eligible.
So, being a final year student of B.A. in Criminology degree course, you are certainly eligible for appearing in the same examination as far as the educational requirement for the same examination is concerned. Of course yes. You are certainly eligible to apply for this Combined Graduate Level Examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission. The minimum basic educational qualification required is as follows,
