What is the eligibility for SSC CGL?

sub... elegibility for ssc cgl 2014... hello sir I have completed 5 years of service as civil govt employees and will be age32 years as on 25 jan. I belogs to general. category. I have completed my graduation am I eligible for ssc cgl 2014 .plz ....... |

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an Indian government organization which will recruit staff members for the various posts in the various departments and ministries. This examination is conducted for recruitment of various positions like Inspector of Income Tax/ Central Excise / Prevention Officer / Examiner / Assistant Enforcement Officer / Divisional Account / Sub- Inspector / Junior Account / Sub inspector in CBI / Statistical Investigator Gr.II. Minimum Qualification required to apply for this examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution Age criteria:- 1. Sub Inspectors in CPOs – 20 years to 25 years 2. Assistant / Sub Inspector in CBI – 20 years to 27 years 3. Statistical Investigators – Maximum 26 years 4. For all other posts – 18 years to 27 years. Upper age relaxation for OBC is upto 3 years. For SC/ ST , it is upto 5 years. For PWD it is upto 10 years. As per age criteria you are not eligible for SSC CGL exam. |

SSC Stands for Staff Selection Commission.
For apply SSC CGL exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Final year student can also eligible to apply for it. Age limit:- Age should be between 20 years to 28 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. |
