Iam B.E. Mechanical engg with 2 yr exp.in pump industry in maintanace department.Kindly tell whether i can apply for BEE 2010 exam for energy audit

For becoming Energy auditor candidate needs to be a B.Tech/ B. E degree holder with at least 3 years of experience and if PG in management or engineering then minimum experience required is of 2 years.

you will not be eligible as you haven't completed 3 years.

the candidate should have one of the following qualification-

B.Tech/B.E. degree with atleast 3 years of experience.

Post Graduation in Engineering or Management after B.E./B.Tech with atleast 2 years of experience.

Diploma in engineering with atleast 6 years of experience or PG in physics, chemistry or electronics with 2 years of relevant experience............

Dear Rahul,
one doubt now i am working under an BEE certified auditor (as an electrical engineer)and associated and co-ordinated for performing energy audits,making reports form past 9months can this experience also eligible for taking exam? after the completion of 3years and wat is the minium requirements if this experience is not enough for taking exam can u pls assist me if i am going in a wrong path if it has no weightage working in such a proprietary company.
can u pls reply me on to this mail id (realrao@in.com) i will be very much greatful to u bcoz some person said me this has no weightage for my carrier for having eligibility for having the exam i m in a big dilemma whether to continue with the same work as an associate or else to look for an other job.

The candidates should be a graduate in BE/Btech with 3 years of experience in planning, operation etc..ME/Mtech with 2 years experience in planning, operation etc..Diploma holder with 6 years experience in.Post graduates with Physics ,Chemistry and Electronics can also appear for the exam if they have 2 years of relevant experience.
