Re: Being from Arts background am I eligible for IBPS exam?
IBPS refers to Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and the same is a body that conducts bank recruitment examination for recruitment of banking personnel across various nationalized banks of India except SBI.
Being a graduate (i.e; BA in English degree holder) as per your educational qualification, you are eligible for appearing in the IBPS bank examinations for the posts of bank clerk and bank PO as for these posts the minimum education required is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. So, you can start your preparation for the same examination without thinking about your eligibility for the same examination.
