hi sir,
presently i am doing my inter 1st year,what will be the best career option after +2....i was interested in doing animation course..does this have good future??

if you have interest on animation course then you should choose this area as your career option. there are so many good scope and opportunity after completion of course on animation field. you may do the course on animation technology. it is good to do this course in regular way. some university also offer this course as part time course. if you want to do graduation in other field as well as you want to do course on animation technology then you may go for part time course. but surely regular course is always better.

you must know the field very well to get better opportunity. you must have very good practical knowledge and you must do project on this field. first you have to join in a company as a freshers with less opportunity. but after few years experience you will face better opportunity and scope. you may do masters also in animation field.

If you are interested in making your career in animation, You may pursue either a bachelors degree program or you may go for a diploma as well as advanced diploma in the same.
The duration of the degree program is three years and the duration of diploma and advanced diploma is between 1 year to 2 1/2 years.
To be eligible for these program, you must have qualified +2 level of exam.

As you are aware this is a highly competitive world. It is never advisable to discontinue studies unless dire need to do so. If you are from a science background and also studied mathematics during 12th standard then the best option would be to go in for Merchant Navy. For this you will need to appear for the entrance exam. On clearing this you will undergo a 1year pre sea training. Also you will need to clear a medical test to qualify. There are also opportunities in the government sector. Be on the lookout for advertisements. It is advisable that along with job you take up part time courses. You could go in for either diploma or degree course. Make sure that you pursue the same from recognized universities.

First of all, if you are interested in an animation you need to see if you have the skills needed to be an animator, for instance drawing, storytelling, visualization and so on. If you have that and also get a proper guidance in an animation institute like DSK Supinfocom, Pune, then there is a very good chance you can land up in a good job. Animation industry is growing and overall the future for animators seems bright.

I have decided to discontinue my engineering studies and get into animation :) whether my decision is correct???

i would like to suggest you that choose that field which you are intrested in otherwise you won't be able to make anything productive out of your career.
