please guide how to become an animator??
i am in 10th want to do animation after my 12th...??
what i have to do after my 12th

You just have to pass +2 with good marks..nothing else..
or huh You have to be optimist..innovative(that is must)....
you have to have imagination...make to do something new...
there are some animation schools/institutes like:
1>Arena Animation(in delhi,mumbai,chennai,trivundrum,trissur,chandigarh etc)
2>Frameboxx(mumbai,chandigarh)
3>Raffles Millennium International
etc..

I would suggest you that first complete your studies, if you want to become a animator there are so many istitutions like MAAC, who are providing 3 year, animation course, but when you completed your 12 th standard you can have the many options other than the animator.

so, just do study, little future animator,

There are more scope in Animation too, like film industry, Advertising companies etc.,

So , courses like B.Sc., Animation or other kind of Maya software courses you can join.

Now im in 12th in the stream of commerce IT . I m from Mumbai. Animation is based on multimedia,so you have to know multimedia for animation, and the best option for this is Engineering in Information Technology.

Dear, you try to prepare for joint entrance and then choose Information Technology as your stream,when you will be in 3rd year you will be taught Multimedia and technology,learn that subject very well.
After completing B.Tech you can get a chance to join various multimedia based company.

if you are creative and have imaginative skills then the field of animation is the right choice for you to pursue a career in it.

You can also pursue many animation courses after 12th in india , like in 2d-3d animation, graphics designing, visual effects, digital film making, vfx, multimedia, web & game design courses.


Eligibility criteria:


-there is no specific eligibility criteria to join the animation courses. But for a degree or diploma course one should be atleast pass his plus two or equivalent.


-for post graduation courses one should be a graduate.


- for institutes like the industrial design center (idc), indian institute of technology (iit) and indian institute of design (nid) the eligibility criteria for post graduate courses is only for the graduates of architecture, technology and engineering, fine arts.


Courses:

- some of these courses are traditional animation, stop-motion animation, rotoscoping, computer generated 3d and 2d animation, clay-motion, photoshop, human anatomy, drawing etc.


-one should also have a basic knowledge of computers.

Once you pass your 12th, there is no reason why you cannot apply in an animation institute like DSK Supinfocom, Pune. But you will have to work hard, polish your drawing and visualization skills and a bit of storytelling skills. Only then you can get admission in DSK Supinfocom animation school. But right now, what you ideally need to do is concentrate on your 10 th standard studies and build up on the above mentioned skills gradually.

Once you pass your 12th, there is no reason why you cannot apply in an animation institute like DSK Supinfocom, Pune. But you will have to work hard, polish your drawing and visualization skills and a bit of storytelling skills. Only then you can get admission in DSK Supinfocom animation school. Your field is quite interesting and colorful field.Now a days each and every technology is embedded in animation and many projects are made based on Animation.
Animation courses are demanding much fees.But you should undertake the courses.completing your 12th standard with minimum 60 percent aggregate marks.Else even after graduation you can take up your career in animation.
Reputed universities are offering these courses.There are part time courses also.It is must that you need to get certification from the reputed institute.you have wide career opportunities you can placed in good animation industries.If you increase your experience then you can demand more.
