Which is the best choice after B.Tech? Is M.Tech in IIT better or in NIT?

definately specialisation in own field is more important .
thus if you wish to be applied for m.tech than it's better to start with your main emphasis for iit..

M.tech from IIT would be better as there you will get better placements.Some companies don't even take test from those who have qualified from IIT.
But you don't get admission in IIT or NIT without an entrance test so prepare for these tests.Also you should have a good score in GATE too .

hii, mtech in IIT is better than NIT, because its world class institute with more number of placements, and highly reputed, having world wide exposure , so go with IITs.

M.Tech in IIT is always better than NIT.
And Moreover it depends on the course you are going to pursue.

M.tech in IIT is the best than opting for NIt...Below mentioned the ranks of premier institutes to give priority...
1.IIT Bombay
2.IISC
3.IIT Madras
4.IIT Delhi
5.IIT kharagpur
6.IIT Kanpur
7.NIT Warangal
8.NIT Trichy

Depending upon your major you should choose...

Offcourse man mtech in iit .. Nothin is better than a mtech in iit as far as ur job prospectus and company approaches are considered . Not only mtech my dear any course in iits wud boost ur job resume dear !!!! But ........ There always comes but after mind bobbling fantasies ...!!!!!!!!!! The entrance or percentile required for iit mtech is very high . For that work hard not only in your last year of btech but also all the years . Iit does not only look at ur last year marks but also what is ur progresss in all the years !!!! Of btech !!!!!!!!!!! Progresss and best of luck for ur future son !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
end point aplly iit if ur sure of high percentile !!!!! On tha other hand apply for nit for ur choice

better if u go for iit prepare well for gate and secure 100-600rank. if u could not secure that rank & get 900-1000 then u surely get nits

iit is the best place to M.Tech,but it depends on ur rank in gate
if ur rank is not upto mark better try gate again
but few nits are good like NIT TRICHY,NIT ROURKEE,NIT WARANGAL
but these follow only after iits.

Hello, As you know IITs are the most reputed organization in India with compared to NITs. So better to get admission in IITs for M.Tech after B.Tech. If you really interested to study M.Tech from IITs then you have to score 500+ in GATE exam. The GATE exam is very tough but if you prepare well then you can crack it.
However, NITs are also good rather than other govt. institutes. So getting into it is also good for career.

After completing B.Tech (Graduation) you will be do M.Tech from IIT.
For M.Tech first of all you will be clear GATE exam then you are eligible to do M.Tech with IITs.
IITs and NITs both are best but all IITs are high ranking.
First preference to IITs then focus on NITs.

Talking about your first question,you can generally think of the following major fields as generally chosen by people:

CLEARING GOVERNMENT EXAM FOR SOME P.S.U etc.
PURSUING M.B.A.
PURSUING M.Tech.

All the three fields have a good scope and equal money earning opportunities.So,it depends totally on you that what you want to do...whether you want to do specilisation or whether you want to go in the field of management.

IIT is definitely better than NIT's for M.Tech...actually,IIT's go by name...but off course the top NIT's are almost equivalent to the IIT's.So,it is upto you whether you join NIT or IIT....

i want to know about career opportunities for M tech. i heard that it is only good if we do m tech from IIT's. And what salary package that m tech guys get who are in IIt's?

i want to know dat after completeion of B.TECH ,,if we opt for M.sc criminolgy and forensic science ...... would be fine ?? or it wont be a good combination ??

My friend , after completion of B.tech you will get lots of career option..
Like -

1.M.tech- If you want to gather more knowledge in your field and want to do research in your field in future, then M.tech is the best option.
You can also get a better job in core sector after completion of M.tech course.

2.MBA- If you have interest in management field then you can go for MBA course.
After completion of MBA course you can get a job with high salary package..

Now the decision is in your hand.. you decide where to go..

IIT's are the best technical colleges in India.. So, if you get a chance in any IIT then first go for that..
Top ranked students in GATE exam are only able to get admission in IIT's..
So, if you get a chance then do not let it go..
Give your first preference to IIT's then NIT's..
