CLAT stands for ( Common Law Admission Test )

This Examination is conducted by Seven National Law University/Institution . The Applicant who aspiring to apply for LLB/LLM Course then the candidate should have to crack the CLAT Examination with good percentage of marks .

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT Examination :-

The Applicant should Passed in 12th standard (or) Equivalent Examination in any discipline from recognized University .You should score Minimum 50% Percentage of marks and relaxation will Applicable for sc/st candidates for 45% Percentage of marks . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .

The Applicant age should be 20 years for General / OBC candidates and relaxation will Applicable for sc/st candidates for 2 years .

I am law graduate,want to teach in law coaching pls tell me vacancies for teacing.

I will answer 2 questions before giving the list

Is CLAT coaching required?
No CLAT coaching according to me is not required. Let me tell you why
Syllabus for CLAT

GK- Extensive amount of self study and current affairs is needed. Coaching cannot help you here at all.

Maths- Very elementary level of maths is asked. Any NCERT or entrance book with explanation is sufficient.

English- This is one area where coaching is helpful as students ignore this section. But every year there are 10-12 questions of vocabulary (synonym, antonym) for which coaching is not helpful

Legal Aptitude- Coaching is of some help here. The students however can cover every possible type of legal aptitude questions with 3-4 months of self preparation.

Logical Reasoning- No shortcuts are needed here. Self study will do just fine.

What is most important for CLAT prepparation?
The most important thing is regular MOCK TEST. A student needs to develop very high speed. Even these MOCK Tests are available for free on EduMentor page.

If you take CLAT coaching when should you join?

THe ideal duration of clat preparation is 4 months. After Boards the time availability is less. SO you should ideally join during your class 12th.


Having said that. THe best coaching institutes for LAW are

Career Launcher- Fees Rs 61,000 for 1 year and around 39,000 for crash course.

Edumentor- Fees Rs 40,000 for 1 year and around 25,000 for crash course.

Sayanibilli- Fees Rs 30,000 for 1 year and around 19,000 for crash course.


CLat possible- Fees Rs 50,000 approx for 1 year not sure about crash course

Personally I dont suggest paying more than 30-40k for a coaching.

My suggestion is take a good test Series to save money
