Eligibility for CLAT examination:
To appear for CLAT examination, candidates must have completed their higher secondary or intermediate examination or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks (45% in the case of candidates belonging to PH/OBC/ST and SC category). Candidates should not be more than 20 years of age (maximum age requirement is 22 years in the case of candidates belonging to PH/OBC/ST and SC category).

Pattern of CLAT examination:
CLAT examination for both UG and PG course is conducted for 200 marks and the duration of these examinations is two hours. The subjects covered for PG CLAT exam is legal theory, constitutional law, criminal law, law of torts and law of contracts.

@rashi- CLAT recognizes the IGCSE board. dont know about ‘how will he be able to take the entrance exam” but he has to pass the 12th grade or equivalent
@bhavna- no passing marks. Cutoffs for different colleges are different. Do you ask of GLC in mumbai (government law college) it is not under clat
