Both fields has their own importance. In aerospace field you will get good paying job but it depends on market but in case of electrical you are independent and you can get gov. Or private job as per your interest.

Aerospace Engineering or Electronics Engineering ![]() Since you are worried about pay and job, without going in any explanation I am discussing some related matters.
Toaday Aerospace Engineering has just become a craz for students, more and more one opting for this branch of engineering. Growing technology in space science and booming aviation sector and growing Indian Airforce strenght are majorly responsible for this. But if we look on statics, it says that India has hardy 2 dozens of Aerospace engineering related Industry/Company, out of which more or less are 10 - 12 are government or public undertakings. R & D works/projects are carrried out Government companies like- HAL, Pawan Hans Helicopter, ISRO and CSIR (NAL). Manufacture works/projects are carrried out Government companies like- HAL, Pawan Hans Helicopter, ministry of civil aviation. Airforce Crafts etc. works/projects are carrried out Government companies like- HAL, Pawan Hans Helicopter, DRDO, Ministry of civil aviation. Parts/equipments etc. supply, tech support, etc. works/projects are carrried out by Private companies like- Able Technologies, Raghu Wamsi MAchice Tools etc. Aerospace engineering graduates starts there career in pay of 8,000 - 20,000/- per month. Which hardly crosses 40K after having 3- 5 years of experiance. But the job schedule is back bone bracking one. Whereas as in Electronics Engineering, more then 100 NAtional and International companies are here in India. Electronics Engineering with its wide range of branches like- ECE, EEE etc. promises a quick job and easy growth rate. Salaries are also attracting ones 12,000 - 40, 000 per annum depending upon Institute from where one has studied and experiance. Now you can better decide. Regards ~Faiyaz~ |

PASSIONwhile other is MONEYSo its upto you that what entertains you more. As far as BTech in aerospace is concerned it asks for hard work and dedication. You need to work as a scientist and the life of ascientist is meant for society and human upliftment. But since you are money minded you can do BTech electronics |

Hi
B.Tech in Aerospace : AEROSPACE This stream deals with the study of the Aeronautics and the space. The satellite communication, radar navigation, high speed fuels, Aerodynamics, etc come under this stream. In a country like India, where there is hardly any scope for space research, I don't see any bright or too bright a future in this field. This field tempts, but actually it is not so advanced yet in India. Yeah in countries like Russia, America, France.. etc Space research means a lot. So if you aim to work there, then you can opt for this course. B.Tech in Electronics : ELECTRONICS With this field, a huge scope and a wide future opens to you. This is actually a combination of two different streams - Electronics and Communication. Electronics would deal with all the semiconductor devices, antenna, Transistors, Microprocessors, VLSI, and Embedded system Robotics.. As you can see, that India is advancing at a very fast rate attracting companies from outside, to their establishment over here. Hence, if you take up this course, certainly you would be benefiting more in the future than opting for the former. Your choice. All the best. Regards RJ |
