you can also apply for correspondence course of brilliant tutorials and ace academy

GATE Preparation by HANDA or G.K Publisher are the books for preparing for GATE.You can enroll for postal coaching services of Brilliant Tutorials.Plan your study prior and do daily practice.
Kraos is also a better option.. i might have got miss spelled but its a better book..
for AC frenzel is for antenna radiation..and goyal bakshi for rest of syllabus..

hello my dear friend,first of all as you are preparing for gate exam i will suggest you to join any of the coaching institute for the preparation,rather than these you can purchase the books like made easy,gk publication.

U can use G.K.Publishers book... U cna get more practice sums in it... The concepts are clearly explained

i would say the books by tata mcgraw hill are the best for GATE preparations
but i suggest you pick up some books by indian authors for reference
besides it G.K.Publishers are good as well
i would suggest you to enroll yourself in a coaching institute as well

its very nice wid all solved and all previous years papers
in my opnioin study alll basic concepts questions wil be based on it only .

Am I required to study General Knowledge for appearing for GATE (ECE) exam?

For EC the best Book is RK Kanodia. It has excellent problems and solutions. There is no comparisoion of this book from GK, handa ec. In fact GK publisher has copied problems from RK Kanodia book.

For ECE students R K KAnodia is the bible...it is a very good book which ahs numerous problems...that are very much GATE oriented....for general apptitude you can follow RS agarwalla...
