IB ACIO Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

~Full form of ACIO is Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. For recruiting these officers an examination is conducted by the Intelligence Bureau.

~The minimum qualification required for this post is graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution.

~The minimum percentage to obtain have not been mentioned therefore you have to manage the pass marks only.

~The maximum age limit for the candidates applying is 27 years if you are general category candidate.

~There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for differently-abled candidates.

~Government employees who have a minimum of three years working experience will get an upper age limit relaxation up to 40 years.

~It is expected that the candidates applying should know how to use the computer. At least the basics should be known to you. This will give you an edge over others.

~The selection procedure includes the following stages as follows: Written Examination and Interview session.

~The written exam paper comprises of an objective paper and a descriptive paper. The total duration to complete the exam is one hour and forty minutes. There is no negative marking in this exam.

~The paper I consists of the following sections: Mathematical Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language and Reasoning.

~Paper-II is the descriptive paper which will test your English Language skill. Essay and Precis writing will be there mainly to check your knowledge.
