Hey,
Both the branch is damn good. In todays time in both branch man growth is very rapid. But it depends on you in which branch you are really interested. If you are good in coding or language point then go through computer sceince. if you are good in circuit things then go through electronics branch. atlast decsion is yours . so best of luck |

Vs WHICH BRANCH BETTER COMPUTER SCIENCE OR ELECTRONICS??? First of all there is no way to compare between any engineering course in B.E/B.Tech... the reason behind is every course as it's own demand in that field of work.. to make you understand let me give a small example.... -> Just take your personal computer and the television set in your home, can you compare both and say which is better???.. no it's not possible because both have it's own use for the customer.. -> In the same way selecting the engineering course matters a lot of your interest but not which is better.. -> Let me light up with the course details, basically Computer Science deals with subjects based on programming and computer related subjects... -> And electronics course deals with subjects based on chip design, circuits etc... -> When you compare both courses for the job prospects both have demand in future.. -> If you are a Computer Science student then by the end of 4th year there are many opportunities where you can get the job through campus placement itself... -> In the same way if you are a Electronics student you have double option either you can go for the core electronics company or a software company through placement.. but you have to work a lot in this course to shine in future... -> So just take all this constraints, and think twice and take a wise decision which is nothing but selecting the course which you are interested in because its going to be your future... All the Best.. |

Computer science is related to computers.
Electronics and communication is related to the electronics. Both are good. If a s/w person can said CSE is good. OR Electronics person says it is good. Its purly depends upon your interest. Finally my vote is for ECE. because ECE is ever green. But the S/W boom is changed. Good luck......... |

Dear,
Every branch has large scope either computer engg. or electronics engg. You need to know your interest.Choose only that stream in which you are interested. At this time both computer science and electronics engg. are best trades. REGARDS ravi6 |

both the braches have equally scope in market and you need to choose your branch according to your interest..
if you think you can do well in computer science..you should go for it..else if you would like to throw your life within electronics then go for extc.. have a broad view of life..think about your family, budget, score, interest and future, then take decision.. gud luck! |

both department are good in their own field. if you can choose computer science as a career then you have better advantage in private sector IT companies like TCS, CTS ,IBM,HP.WIPRO. maximum IT company preferred CSE and IT department because they works on the software development. the related subject are in CSE department not in ECE department. but in another view in govt sector ECE have better than CSE. CSE department have chances in govt sector job like BSNL,ISRO,DRDO etc. as per my opinion you can choose CSE as your career. all the best |

Re: Which branch is better between Computer Science and Electroincs & Communications Engineering in B.Tech?
To find the difference in any engineering branch is very difficult which branch you like and you have more interest that branch is most important for you.
All the branches have equal demand at there proper place so you need to work with any one branch and to do work hard. Only then you can get success. |

Re: Which branch is better between Computer Science and Electroincs & Communications Engineering in B.Tech?
All the branches of engineering are different from one another. There are no criteria on which of the branches of engineering can be compared. All the engineering branches are interdependent. If you compare the branches on the basis of the opportunities available, then also it is difficult. Now, comparing the branches CSE and ECE, a student who has passed out from ECE has a wider spectrum of jobs to choose from rather than the CSE students. In this angle, ECE is better than CSE.

Both branches are very good branches and both branches are growing branches at present. If u have interst in computer related course and programming the u can choose computer engineer. Its a very good branch and u can also learn variour languages along with engineering.u should choose java.Java is the best option u have. and the other branch electronics and communication is also very good branch. If u have interst in circuits, electronics related things then u have to choose this language. There is many scope for a ECE engineer. all depends on your choice and on your interest. so choose the right one and do work hard. all the best |

Dear friend.,
cs and electronics are good branches. i want to tell you that the interest is the main thing in the life of the student, it is all dependent on you that in which field you want to go. these both branches are good, if you want to go in the software field then you should go to the cs field. and if you want to go in the electronics then you can select the circuits analysis etc. best of luck. |

Re: Which branch is better between Computer Science and Electroincs & Communications Engineering in B.Tech?
It depends on you interest in which branch you want to go.
but if you are asking in view of a job , then i think CSE is best because software engineers are in great demand.actually what happens,if you are not a very good student in ECE, then you can't get job in this sector , you have to go to software company then its very obvious that you are not that good in software as a CSE student |

Re: Which branch is better between Computer Science and Electroincs & Communications Engineering in B.Tech?
for the preparation of chemistry you have to read your books very carefully. read every topics carefully. If it seems that some topics are
difficult, and you are not understanding these topics , then best method is that make notes of it . read theses notes time to time because by doing so you will one day understand these in a better way. Read some other books i.e PARADEEP, DINESH etc because some of these books has topics which are easily to understand. consult more difficult topics with you teachers because these are the best method to understand anything. |

Re: Which branch is better between Computer Science and Electroincs & Communications Engineering in B.Tech?
Computer Sc is the best branch of Engg and its also the most sought after branch.Following are the reasons:
1)Most of the high flying Engg jobs are in IT field 2)Other branch engineers work hard for 4 yrs of time in EC/Electrical lab and finally get into IT. Wheras the Computer Engineer is fully focussed to IT/Software in much depth from day one and that is what they finally work.So there is some relevance b/w what they study and what they finally do 3)EC Engineers have very less core EC jobs in India so ultimately after slogging in the EC lab for 4 years its the IT where they have to fall back....so the perception that EC can swing either way is just a illusion not the reality 4)Many IT companies prefer CSE |
