Hey ashish !! i wil say a lot depends upon your interest in the subject and branch . both mechanical and EEE are core branches and have there own importance . From my own personal experience i will tell you that mechanical will be a better option because there are very less core companies available who recruit EEE freshers comparatively mechanical freshers have a list of choices for core companies after the course and as PSU companies are recruiting with gate scorecard through off campusing so if u take EEE , you will have very less options open like working on mass recruit software companies , which is not desirable at all .
