Which branch would I get after scoring 8300 rank? When would the counseling occur?
Which branch would i get in 8300 rank in 2012 when would my councelling occur

If you have AIR 8300 in IIT-JEE Mains 2019, then it is a good Rank. Any one who is getting AIR under 10,000 can get a good NIT college.
Well, if we talk about the branch, then you can get CSE, IT in NIT Surat, kurukshetra, Delhi near about the 3rd or 4th round of counseling. If you need Mechanical then you can get Mechanical, Electrical, BIOTECH, BIOMEDICAL, METALLURGY, MINING , CIVIL in first round of counseling in NIT Raipur, Durgapur, etc. But to get CSE and IT branch in top 5 NIT's you have to wait till 6th-7th round of counseling. and these all depends upon the number of remaining seats, caste reservation and round of counseling.
