Yes, you are eligible for IIT JAM exam because you have completed B.Sc in Biotechnology.

The minimum educational qualification required for IIT JAM 2015 exam is graduation degree. Your graduation degree marks must be above 50%.

Your age should be above 17 years.

You can do M.Sc degree in Biotechnology through IIT JAM exam from below given institute.

Yes, you can apply for IIT JAM exam being a student of B.Sc Bio-Technology. No need to worry as the minimum eligibility that is asked for IIT JAM is Bachelor's degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/Engineering/ Medicine. The candidate should have passed Mathematics at 10+2.

I am studying bsc biotech 2nd year in pune university and my friend told me that this is compulsory to have maths as your subject in 12th class ...is it true or not...if so ...then in my first year i have maths subject so am i eligible to give IIT JAM??
