This is a complex biomedical subject with very high scope in the research field and if pursued up to the Ph.D. you can go for DNA finger printing jobs and cytogenetics labs which offers 15K in the starting itself and in the BHU, varanasi, SV university Tirupathi and various deemed universities in tamilnadu and Karnataka is offering this course.

At first I wanna say that it is a very good choice to complete the higher study in Genetics.
As the recession is now going on on that time this will be very good opportunity to stand on the subject Genetics.


As the subject having a very good Bright Future on that field.
i)After the B.Sc you can complete the M.Sc in Genetics.

ii)After the M.Sc you can complete the Ph.D.

iii)Then you can go for various job or research field such as Disease Control, Hormone and Protein Synthesis, Animal Research, Medical Investigations of Gene Structure etc.

So dont think about your future ,there are huge scope for you.
