Re: Which BSc stream is better between IT, Microbiology and Biochemistry?
in my opinion you should give preferance to it because after seeing your marks in class 12 i can say that it is not good so if you apply for biological field then it is little difficult .so in order to make your good and promising you should choose it.

all of the stream are good but you have to as per your interest career prospect in all are very good in future first of all you think what is your interest
if you are interested in maths then you go for IT and if you like biology or chemistry you go for other two options |

Well friend,
the choice of stream solely lies upon your desires and intrests...But in my opinion Bsc it will be helpful according to your demands...because the other two subjects you have mentioned that is biochemistry or microbiology as usually small scale industries... Good luck ! |

Re: Which BSc stream is better between IT, Microbiology and Biochemistry?
first see on the result of you 10+2 level then see the marks for each subject. in which subject you get the maximum marks? then think in which subject you have interest?
actually B.Sc IT, microbiology and biochemistry both are good choice. but to read on a subject you should have a enough marks to take admission in a good institution and you should have sufficient interest. B.Sc IT it is computer based subject. if you have interest on computer and have some knowledge on it then you may go for it. but in this field you have to do mathematics. so think how much good you was in mathematics at 10+2 level. B.Sc in microbiology is based on biology. think how much you feel comfortable with biology. if you feel good enough then go for it. it has very good scope and job opportunity but subject is very tough. B.Sc in biochemistry is based on chemistry so think about the chemistry subject in 10+2 level. it has also a good demand now. you may go for it. if you have same interest of above all these three subject then i will suggest you according to your 68% marks that go for biochemistry. i think you are a average student so it will be better for you. then second option should be B.Sc in IT according to me. best of luck. |

Re: Which BSc stream is better between IT, Microbiology and Biochemistry?
Dear friend,
your result for +2 will be eligible for all the courses you have mentioned here. I do understand your problem choosing the right course for you. My advice would be, which subjects you prefer- either PCM (physics, chemistry, maths) or PCB (physics, chemistry, biology). Choose - either maths or biology. Go for the one which you are good at and which you feel you can go very well. In IT, you will be dealing about software, equations, computer peripherals, technology, etc whereas in biochemistry or microbiology, you will be dealing about genetics, cells, DNA, etc. so, choose wisely where you can excel. All the best. Thank you. |

Re: Which BSc stream is better between IT, Microbiology and Biochemistry?
Hi,
In my opinion IT is much better if you are confused between the three. If you have special interest then gor forthe one which you like as all of the three have good scopes. |

Re: Which BSc stream is better between IT, Microbiology and Biochemistry?
Each course has its own merits and demerits. The success depends upon the student’s preference, dedication and passion towards that particular subject. IT, Microbiology and Biochemistry are of three entirely different subjects. As you are a science student it is better to stick to your subject and get a higher education in the same field.

If you want to go in a technical field then I think you should go for B.Sc. IT
Otherwise B.Sc. Microbiology and Biochemistry are also good fields. all the best.. |

Biochemisry is one such field that has lots of scope and is surely a nice one to be in than the others you have mentioned. Pick the one in which you are interested...
