Is Engineering is the best option for me after 12th Sci.?

C.A is best taken through commerce but still it is ok with science.Dont put question mark.Its possible.Hard luck

Yes you are eligible for CA and you can do CA after 12th science. the minimum
eligiblity for non-commerce graduates with subjects other than Mathematics with
an aggregate of 55% marks and non-commerce graduates with Maths with an
aggregate of 60% marks are exempted from the Competency Professional Test
and are permitted to register for Professional Competency Course..........

well. if u want to go for c.a after 12 .....you have to nothing important....just go for the registration and after that prepare for the entrance....yes the subjects are different than in science side....but you can take tuition for that......and after becoming c.a you can do various courses like m.b.a and p.hd....indraprastha iniversity,delhi is providing m.b.a for the c.a students....good luck

Dear Friend

Yes u can opt for CA after 12th Science.

For Opting CA After 12th Science or from any Stream after 12th you have to appear for CPT i.e. Common Prof. Test.

Now CPT is Complusory for any one opting for CA even after Graduation. So there is no other way then to appear for CPT exam.

For Appearing in CPT Exam First u need to Obtain Registration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. After Registration Before Exam you have to Fill up Examination Form of ICAI. CPT Exam are held twice in Year in the month of June and Dec.

BCom with Computer as one of the combinations is now a much sought after course.

C.A.(Chartered Accountant) is a proffesional who has the highest level of knowledge in accounting, auditing and taxation. Any one going for this career must be ready for extreme hard work and hours of study.
Its not about the degree you hold but is all about the knowledge that is required for C.A.
I would never suggest anyone to take up this course unless he/she knows what exactly it demands, though there is no such hard core rule regarding acedemic background. Candidate needs to appear for a Common Preparation Test (CPT) and if qualifies , can pursue the course. Well, the one from a commerce background has obviously greater chance of success than the one from other stream.
So, if anyone from science, arts or commerce is ready to take the challenge and can give what it demands, then you might give it a try.

Actually, there is no such criteria as been mentioned for pursuing CA.
anyone, from any background can pursue CA provided he/she has passed the competency professional test.
Apart from this, I would also like to know from compaq123, that is it true that after passing 10+2, I can apply for CA post? because all these years i was wondering the eligibility is only enough to pursue the course and not the post.

It depends upon the interest of yours.

You can also do BCA or BSc if you have interest in these.

If you want to have command over specific area then you should opt for a particular branch of your choice in engineering.

hii friend you do both the field both have good scope no need worry about it... to do c.a you need to be good in mathematics and some econmic accounts and for engineering you have science its good to hear........you can do engineering it will give you come creative option in future.....c.a is very tough you have to work hard must concentrate only on that........

The eligibility criteria for CA is graduation from any stream. It doesn't matter with which subject you have passed 12th and graduation.
So, you are eligible for CA exam ie CPT but you can register for it only after completion of your graduation.
