Can 12th passed arts students can join NDA. If yes then what steps should taken to join NDA.

Yes. The candidates who have completed 12th class in Arts stream are eligible to join NDA.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year UPSC is going to conduct NDA Exam to recruit the candidates into following defence services
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

Here is the selection procedure to be placed in any of these defence services
Written Exam
Interview
Medical Test

One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized college in order to be placed in Army wing.

But to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, it is must that the candidates should have gone through 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

The required age criteria for the candidates to apply for this exam is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

The nationality of the candidate should be India.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this Exam.

As you have completed 12th class in Arts stream, you are eligible to apply for Army wing through NDA Exam.

Have good preparation for it and crack it.

Sorry, you cannot join the National defence academy(NDA).
Only those students join the NDA who passed their 12th on the non medical steam. NDA exam occure 2 times in one year. And only those students are eligible who passed their 12th on the science steam.


As you mention above that you are Arts students then am sorry to say you that you are not eligible for NDA exam.
