Can any government employee give IPS entrance test? What is the age relaxation and age limit for Government Employee?
Indian police service :can any govt.employee should eligible for ips test[]

yes government employee can also took part in it.
and age limits must be within 21 to 30 years.

yes a government employee can appear for IPS exam...All candidates, whether already in Government
Service, Government owned industrial undertakings or other similar organisations or in private employment should submit their applications direct to the Commission. Persons already in Government Service,whether in a permanent or temporary capacity or as workcharged employees other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under the Public Enterprises are however, required to submit an undertaking that they have informed in writing their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the Examination. Candidates should note that in case a communication is received from their employer by the Commission withholding permission to the candidates applying for/appearing at the examination, their application will be liable to be rejected/candidature will be liable to be cancelled. As such there is no benefit is given for only government employee its there for military services..

ya... you can apply for IPS exam... irrespective of working in government institution or any other organisations,you can apply for ips exam....
that and all does not matter in the ips exam... all the best... regards yogi

I am a Maharashtra State Govt. Employee. My age is now 27 years old. What is rule of govt employee to give other competative examination(MPSC/UPSC/OTHER DEPARTMENT)? I m in open categary what is age limit?

i am prabhakaran,as i am working in private institution at tamil nadu,my age is going to complete 33 in the year april 2012, if it is possible to attend the examination(UPSC/OTHER DEPARTMENT)? i am in OBC category, waiting for ur reply. thanks & with regards, PRABHAKARAN.N
