i want to apply for nda but i am bio student...please tell me the possibility

Hello friend,

NDA exam is conducted mainly for selecting eligible candidates to Army, Navy, and Air Force. The candidates who have completed 12th in any discipline from a recognized institute can apply for the NDA Army wing. However, the candidates must have pursued 12th with a background in science to apply for the NDA Navy and Air Force wings. The age of the candidate must be between 16 ½ -19 years. They must also pass the physical fitness test. The candidates can procure the application form from the designated post offices. Along with the form, there will be an envelope, acknowledgement card, and an information booklet. The duly filled application must be send to “The Secretary, UPSC.”

sorry to say that biology student can not give entrance exam of NDA.
because in NDA this is must that candidate should have maths subject
eligibility
candidate should be indian
candidate should be complete 12th class with maths and physics subject
candidate should be male and unmarried
candidate age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

You must have passed 12th standard from a recognized board with pcm subject.

Yeah sure , you are eligible to apply for NDA examination .

It is All India Level Entrance examination and this examination is conducted two times in a year Organized by Union Public Service Commission as called as NDA I and NDA II .

NDA II Last date for receipt of application was already closed and the examination will be conducted on 19/08/12 .

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination :-

Biology Students are eligible to apply for NDA Examination and this examination is conducted for recruitment of Indian Army , Indian Navy and Indian Air force wings .

To apply for these services then the candidate have to completed 12th Board Exam with Science Stream from a recognized school or equivalent qualification .

If you have a Science Background the you are eligible to apply for all entries in the NDA examination .

If you are coming from Commerce Background / Any background then you are eligible to apply for Army wings and you are not eligible to apply for Navy and Air force examination .

Because to apply for these entry then you have to completed 12th exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in your examination .

~~ You must have a minimum 16.5 years to 19 years of age .

~~ Only Male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination .

~~ Minimum marks is not required for this examination .

~~ Awaiting the exam results OR appearing in the final year of 12th exam may also eligible .

~~ Minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms (162.5 cms for Air force ) .

hello
according to my knowledge you are not eligible for NDA exam. there are eligibility of NDA exam is as follow:

-candidate should have complete 12th class with maths and physics subjects
-candidate should be male and unmarried
-candidate age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years

you can apply for PMT exam you can go for doctor line.
that line also good. you have to give PMT entrance exam for that.

Yes,you are eligible for the NDA examination after completing the 12th class with Biology,physics and chemistry as your subjects.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy.
To have admission in the NDA you should appear for the NDA exam which is conducted twice in a year and is conducted in the month of April and October.

There is also some eligibility Criteria to appear in the exams of NDA:

• You should be a citizen of India.
• You should have done your 12th class from a recognized university
• Your age should be between 16,5 to 19 years
• you should be physically fit.
• you should be male and unmarried candidate.

My dear friend as far as my knowledge is concerned you should have Mathematics as your compulsory subject for applying in NDA exam. Bio can be optional but i think Mathematics is Mandatory.

The eligibility for NDA is-
The condidate should have to pass 12th with PCM with minimum 60%.
So if u r a bio student then u r not eliigible for NDA.

The NDA exam has 3 sections for which you shoud apply:

• Army wing
• Air Force
• Naval Wings

Among these 3 you are eligible only for the first section or category as for that you require just a +2 certificate.
But for other streams you are not eligible.
But even if you are not eligible you are allowed to write the exam

3.you must be unmarried male indian.

paper pattern of NDA entrance exam


the NDA exam consists of questions from the folowing subjects:

1.mathematics --120 question

---> test of three hours

2.general awareness ,general science, english

--> test of three hours .


note : this examination is conducted twice in a year ,once in the month of april and other in the month of august.

--> you can also apply online or through offline mode by filling the form obtained from the post office of your district.
